As it is very early in the morning we will go to the matter quickly and bluntly. We have for today some announcements and news of Binance, which we must pay close attention.

A Very Controversial News

It was very funny yesterday, that when we were finishing the weekly report, we got the polemic news of the Binance futures platform.

Apparently, Binance almost became the victim of a market maker attack in the early hours of Sep. 16.

However, CEO Changpeng Zhao soon revealed that the “attack” on the new futures platform was actually the result of a bug, causing the crypto-community to criticize him for making hasty accusations as as expressed cryptoslate.

In theory these things should not happen. But we know that technologically and because it is a new platform, these errors can appear.

A New Strategic Investment

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance, the world’s largest by trading volume, has made a strategic investment in Chinese media and data source Mars Finance.

According to a report from Bloomberg citing a press release, the investment amount was not disclosed, but values the company at $200 million.

Fourth & Fifth Phase

Binance will launch the fifth phase of Binance Lending Products at 2019/09/20 6:00 AM (UTC), where 14-day fixed term lending products will be made available as wrote in the blog.

We can note that this is a special edition focused on privacy-focused coins.

But, the strangest thing, and without leaving the context, is that OKEx Korea is wanting or already programmed to delist all privacy coins, including Monero, Zcash and Dash, for “violate” the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) “travel rule.”

In our personal opinion it seems that game that while a girlfriend or boyfriend does not love us, another or another welcomes us. 😂

Leaving the funny side of the story, also, Binance will launch the fourth phase of Binance Lending Products at 2019/09/18 6:00 AM (UTC) as says the blog.

Announcement From BUSD

Few hours of writing about the last project that will be listed on the exchange, Binance sent us that Binance is opening a new BUSD Fiat Gateway and it will list BUSD.

Also, Binance will enable BUSD purchases through Paxos integration and is now available on our Buy & Sell Crypto page. Users can sign up and begin using this service now.

Additionally, Binance will list Binance USD (BUSD) and open trading for BNB/BUSD and BTC/BUSD trading pairs at 2019/09/19 10:00 AM (UTC).

What is BUSD?

Binance USD (BUSD) is a stable coin pegged to USD that has received approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). BUSD will be available for direct purchase and redemption at a rate of 1 BUSD = 1 USD.

Band Token Sale Summary

Binance has completed the Band Protocol lottery draw, with a 9.43% ratio of winning tickets.

The results of the lottery draw and airdrop are summarized below.

Binance will also open trading for BAND/BNB, BAND/BTC and BAND/USDT trading pairs at 2019/09/18 12:00 PM (UTC).

Results for 631,800 BAND Airdrop!

A pool of 631,800 BAND tokens (approx 300,000 USD) will be split and airdropped to all launchpad participants that do not have a winning ticket as explained in the blog.

Based on the Band Launchpad lottery results, the total number of tickets claimed by the 19,258 non-winning participants was 83,003. As such, the number of BAND airdropped for each ticket claimed by a non-winning participant will be 7.61177307 BAND.
